OBJECTIVES

Flor do Sol is part of a spontaneous planetary movement, a regain of consciousness for the respect we owe to ourselves and to others, according to the natural laws.

Nature regenerates us. When we are in harmony with our internal nature, we are in harmony with the nature that surrounds us, so we can make the place where we live, Earth, a better place.

By becoming responsible for our consumption, knowing what we are ingesting or putting into our temple (our body), direct contact with producers, becoming conscious of food production cycles, choosing organic products and using less packaging and intermediaries…

Flor do Sol – Vital Energy is a path towards Reconnection, Self-Care and Self-Accomplishment. Our purpose is a Physical, Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual balance.

We wish to help towards the creation of healthy new routines, focusing on small aims, step by step, so we can gradually experience responsible changes.

To this intent we use several organizational tools:

– Guidance, Counselling service and Food Education, creating a nutrition consciousness;

– Meditation practices;

– Manual therapies, Abhyanga Massage;

– We facilitate inner listening and help to break old patterns so we can live a healthier and happier life through Family Constellations.

– Life Trajectory Workshop (OTV) – Active Agents of Happiness, strengthen the positive path in line with our soul.

We develop these activities during private appointments, events, in person and/or online classes.

Promoting the health of body, mind and spirit with holistic solutions is one of our aims!

We intend to develop partnerships and connections, embracing several themes and subjects that can contribute to personal, social and planetary development!

Casting seeds into the wind, they become budding ideas, inspiring a more harmonious, fulfilled, conscious and healthier life!

WORK EXPERIENCE

Mafalda Jorge

Flor do Sol was born in 2015 when I returned to Portugal after some years travelling and living in Africa and South America. It has grown, flourished and started to become known.

I have a master’s degree in Conservation and Restoration, and I have worked in this area for 10 years. Alongside, I have always been interested in personal development and researching other subjects concerning physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Throughout the years I have studied the effects of different therapies and diets with a view to the prevention and/or healing of various health issues.

Human beings have several subtle bodies that need to be nourished.

There are several ways to feed ourselves, by what we eat (the food of the Earth), by the Sun (its heat -Fire), by the Water we drink, by the Air we breathe, by hugs and love we share. This is our nourishment so we have to be very careful to take care of all these aspects.

My passion is to continue the work of self-discovery (a never ending one), to explore and study new therapies and to incorporate them into my life.

The vegetarian diet has always fascinated me, and I incorporated it into my life when I was a teenager. From this moment on, I began to educate myself on the subject, and every time I had the opportunity, I researched raw food, vegan and medicinal diets. The first time I had contact with the raw food ethos, I felt a deep connection with it, and since then, I have devoted myself to acquiring and perfecting knowledge on this subject.

My passion of raw food and its delicious and subtle flavours grows from day to day, as well as my ability to create new and inspired recipes.

The most important contact with raw food happened when I was living in Brazil where I had the privilege to study in Terrapia. It was a wonderful experience to meet and to learn from the mentor of this course Dra. Maria Luísa Branco, with the chef Cynthia Brant and with many other beautiful people that I met during this training. I have to thank them all for helping me to get closer to my inner being, my essence.

The Master level I and II online vegan Cook, 70% raw, at Ana Moreno’s School, help me to extend my knowledges in cooking and nutrition field.

I also studied Ayurveda massotherapies’ (Abhyanga’s Massage) and naturopathy. This allowed me to fuse into raw and vegan food medicinal elements and aspects of the Ayurveda’s diet.

I love to travel, to discover different places and cultures, to meet new people and to find, in these places, new flavours to explore in my kitchen.

In 2014 I made my first Vipassana (10 days silence retreat) and ever since I am a Vipassana meditation practitioner. This is a great help in this beautiful journey, increasing my focus, my intuition and my development as a human being. On my journey, I came to understand how important it is to listen to our bodies, our cells, to practice an intuitive diet that answers our bodies’ needs and requests. We need to reconnect to our essence.

With the Psychologist Marisa Oliveira, I had my first contact with “Psicoterapia Trajectória de vida” Psychotherapy Life Trajectory, which gave me another important work tool.

Upon this path of personal growth one of the therapies that attracted me was Family Constellations. It answered so many of my questions. I took a Family Constellations course with Maria Gorjão Henriques for two years. It is a way of bringing us back into other levels of consciousness, where all our questions find their places and answers.

My dream is that we can co-create a world where a collective conscience of Love and Respect exists towards every Earth being. Where each individual is responsible for his words and actions, so we can evolve together. This way future generations can inherit a more balanced, harmonious and healthy world.
